CodeCheckGS

Our CodeCheckGS app uses the internal camera to capture and evaluate barcodes. The images are only cached locally and are not passed on or used in any way by us. If a barcode is recognized and evaluated, the contents of the barcode including the scanned image are saved in our archive. They are not synced via iCloud or other services and are therefore only stored locally on the iPhone or iPad.

In addition, CodeCheckGS offers a report function to send the evaluation result to an email address. This e-mail address will not be saved, but you can store a default e-mail address in the settings. If you enter something there, this e-mail address will be saved locally and can only be read by CodeCheckGS.

Privacy on this website

Since this website was created for purely informational use, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you want to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to GMT, content of the request (actual website), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, the website from which the request comes, browser type, operating system and its interface and language / version the browser software.
